HolidaysExcel Custom Contractors, LLC. observes the following holidays:
Eligibility for paid holidays begins after the 90 day probationary period from start of employment. Holidays are paid at ½ day for carpenter apprentice/carpenter and full day for carpenter supervisor/carpenter foreman. Unapproved absences immediately before or after the holiday will result in the forfeiture of a paid holiday. Holiday pay does not count as hours worked and will not be factored in for overtime purposes. Only hours worked greater than 40 are at time and a half. Vacation TimeVacation time accrues on hours worked and begins immediately after probationary period. Eligibility for accrual begins 90 days after hire date. Vacation time may be carried over only from the first year of employment if your hire date is after the second half of the year. Maximum accrued time permitted is two weeks and must be used prior to end of the year. Failure to utilize vacation time results in forfeiture and may not be redeemed in the form of payment. Vacation pay does not count as hours worked and will not be factored in for overtime purposes. Only hours worked greater than 40 are at time and a half. Sick TimeExcel Custom Contractors, LLC. does not offer paid sick time at this time. Health BenefitsExcel Custom Contractors, LLC. provides reimbursement up to $500 per month for carpenter supervisor/carpenter foreman and $200 per month for carpenter apprentice/carpenter and does not administer any health care programs. A receipt from the employees existing personal health care provider is required for reimbursement. ReviewsBi-annual reviews are given that correspond with compensation increases commensurate with performance evaluation. Tuition ReimbursementReimbursement for qualifying programs is offered under the conditions and terms set forth by Excel Custom Contractors, LLC. Personal Protective EquipmentPPE is paid for and provided for by the company. Initial cost for PPE is withheld from employee’s first check. After six months of employment the employee will be reimbursed in full for the cost of the PPE and is at that time the property thereof. Bonuses
